About

Karoline Farris

Hey there, my name is Karoline. I love creating beauty and flow out of chaos.

"As above, so below; as within, so without" is a quote I've always been drawn to. The connection between our external world and how we feel about ourselves has always intrigued me.

For me, the notion of "tending" your life—making something better than you found it, loving it back to life—really appeals to me. I believe in its magic.

In our day-to-day life, things can get messy or lost. It can feel hard to get ahead or even find a sense of calm. I often found myself at friends' houses, helping them sort, clear, and redo their spaces. The immense gratitude and positive effects these sessions had on them were palpable.

That's where this business was born. Sometimes we just need help.

There is something special about reclaiming and refreshing your spaces. Diving into your intentions for your space and nurturing them brings a sense of peacefulness not only to your home but to your life.

Help yourself to allow serenity to settle in.

Our Process

1. Assess Your Space ✨

Zoom Out Mode: Begin by taking a step back and viewing your space from a bird's-eye perspective. This helps you understand the overall layout and identify areas that need attention.

Set Intention:

  • Ambiance: How do you want this room or your entire home to feel? Think about the mood and atmosphere you wish to create.

  • Aesthetics: What do you want it to look like? Visualize the colors, decor, and arrangement that would bring you joy.

  • Functionality: How do you and your family use specific areas in your home? Consider the activities that take place in each space and how to optimize them for comfort and convenience.

Taking this broad perspective of your home in its current state helps you envision the desired end result in terms of look, feel, and functionality.

2. Identify Your Values

Determine Your Priorities: Reflect on what matters most to you in your space:

  • Beauty: Do you prioritize aesthetics and visual appeal?

  • Functionality: Is practicality and ease of use more important?

  • Simplicity: Do you value minimalism and a clutter-free environment?

Understanding your values will guide your decisions as you organize and transform your space.

3. Sort It

Create Four Zones:

  • Trash: Items that are broken, outdated, or no longer serve a purpose.

  • Donate: Items that are in good condition but no longer needed. These can be given to charity or passed on to someone who will use them.

  • Keep for Sure: Items that are essential, frequently used, or have significant sentimental value.

  • Keep Maybe: Items you are unsure about. Revisit these after sorting the rest to make a final decision.

This helps you sort items quickly and efficiently, reducing overwhelm.

For each item, ask yourself:

  • Function: What function does it serve in your life? Is it useful or necessary?

  • Frequency of Use: How often do you use it? Regularly used items deserve prime storage space.

  • Personal Affection: Do you like it? Does it bring you joy or serve a meaningful purpose?

Clarify Your Decision Process
